Sessions
Mini Session
Mini sessions are typically offered 2x a year in Summer and early Fall. They are 20 minute photo slots, booked back-to-back with multiple families in one location. I will offer a few location and date options for you to choose when is best for your family. If you want to gather 3 other families at any point of the year, I'm happy to create a custom mini session date for you.
Family Session
Family Sessions are about 30-45 minutes of photo time in your choice of local San Luis Obispo location. Together, we have more space for candid moments with your family. I have some time to get to know you and your kids. We relax on time, and let the kids play without the pressure to just getting a "smile at the camera."
Newborn Session
Newborn Sessions are such intimate times as we take in your life together as a family, whether you have just one baby or siblings running around as well. I come to your home and photograph your baby sleeping, yawning, stretching, nursing, and snuggling as you, your spouse or sibling hold your precious child.
Maternity Session
Maternity Sessions are typically photographed around 30 weeks so that you can clearly see your beautiful baby bump, but hopefully still feel comfortable before "popping" even more. These sessions are outdoor, in one location for about 30-45 minutes.
Extended Family Session
Extended Family Sessions are built to include grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles, etc. Together, we work through specific groups you would like to capture in more posed images. We still get some fun moments in there too because all kids (and adults) need breaks from poses.

What should we wear for our family shoot?
It's my biggest hope that these photos are a genuine representation of your family, so dress in what feels natural to your style. Yes, you can kick it up a notch so that feel your very best, but be yourself. Think about colors you love and would look great as prints in your home. Once we have connected, I am happy to send you some outfit inspiration to get you started.
How do we choose a location for our shoot?
This all depends on the type of shoot you want. If you're booking a mini session, I will set a few locations and dates for you to choose. If you're booking a family session, we can discuss a place that feels natural for your family and looks best during the time of year.
